Fine Art

To create is a gift, through which I hope to uplift, bring joy, and occasional whimsy to a subject. I paint from life as often as I can to further understand light, how to manipulate its effects, and to learn how to bring flow and immediacy into the artwork. I paint with both traditional and contemporary approaches and ideas. At times I use symbols that are more personal easter eggs in the paintings as tributes or declarations of love to my wife. In an ever busier world I seek to slow down and look with more intent and appreciation at the world around me and hope others will join me on that journey.
